These lights are nice & bright, dog proof & don't need to be installed. Can just sit on steps (that's how I found out they're dog proof) & work fine. Provide plenty of light for my steps in my very dark back yard. They work in rain, after being dragged in mud, on consecutive cloudy days. I seriously love these lights & will order more for my front steps, but have adhered them to steps so the dog stops dragging them around the yard. No problems with these. I've had them for 3 weeks now. if you don't have a curious pup you seriously do not have to adhere them to anything.

I bought these for our deck stairs which don't face the sun during the day so I was unsure how effective they would be. But they works great! Even on cloudy days, they have come up and are just as bright. I can't attest to if they stay on all night or not but we have stayed outside late and they are still on for as long as we need them. They are also very easy to hide on the sides of the step under the rail so they aren't very noticeable and no one will step on them. Glad I bought these!

Decently bright and last quite some time on minimal charge. The way my stairs are setup these lights don't see direct sunlight at all but they still work nicely. The real challenge will be in the winter when there will be no sunlight for weeks at a time.
The warm color makes it look more inviting in my opinion.
They are pretty small, they actually sit under my stair railing.
I don't have them mounted in any way but they haven't moved.
