We purchased the Transmitting Base & Speaker 1 month before and tired very quickly of having to put speaker back on base for recharging all the time. Because the room is 22ft long we decided to get another speaker plus [2] elec cords, we now have [2] speakers 21ft away from TV and sound is great. With purchasing [2] elec cords we no longer have to move any speakers; they are always charged. With this setup we have the Transmitting Base hooked up behind TV. With 2 portable speakers and the TV speaker sound is everywhere in the room. We are both in our 70's and we can sit anywhere in the room, so this setup is great for us.

I have been wearing hearing aids for about 4 years now and was just tested and found that my hearing is getting worse and is age related.
