I bought this with one purpose in mind.....move stuff from my vehicle to my hotel room without having to use the hotel cart and then return it.
This hand truck especially allows me to take a few things down to the car the night before my departure. There will certainly be times I will use it to take stuff to my room on my arrival day as well.
I will be using it in hotels that are "accessible", so stair usage for me was not a concern. Sidewalks, hallways, lobbies, and elevators would be the ways I would go from my vehicle to my room.
I usually travel with two 12 gallon tubs filled with stuff for many of my 3-10 day stays. The tubs have a few drinks and snacks in them as well as some other things that come in handy when staying at a hotel or condo.
These are vacation type trips.....not business trips....and I don't always want to pay bell services to take my stuff to the room....plus there can be delays in getting service.
The flip out wings help expand the base and my tubs sit nicely on the base and seem stable. I can stack the two tubs on top of each other and it is a perfect fit. The bungee cords are a nice additional touch.
The height of the extended handle is suitable and not awkward....I am 5" 9"
It seems to be sturdy enough for my needs and it folds up pretty small when put away.
I have 2 trips coming up and if I have any additional comments, I will add them when I return.
Edit- 3 months later- I love this thing. Sturdy and convenient. Wish I had purchased it years ago!.

Does the job

It is compact and might seem a little flimsy at first but it does the job! The wheels are not big so bear that in mind. But having the little bungee cords helped a lot. Solid little piece for toting things like cases of water or bulky boxes.
PERFECT FOR AIR TRAVEL

I just returned from a roundtrip domestic flight and I am very pleased with this little cart. I am 81 years old and have back problems so when I travel it is hard for me to carry anything. This little cart handled my canvas carry-on bag and folded so small that I could shove it under the seat in front of me, plus put my canvas carry-on bag on top of it under the seat in front of me. Walking thru the airport it wheeled along just fine. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs help carrying any packages. I didn't put my suitcase on it since I have wheels on my suitcase.
Very please, thus far

I have grown cynical about products I am buying on Amazon. So many are of inferior quality to what I expected.
This portable hand cart is, thus far, perfect, for my needs. I am very pleased. My need are to transport my art supplies from my car to my art class (on the second floor) and then back to my car. I use a very large canvas "boat" tote to carry my supplies which lets me access the supplies I need as I need them. Rather than me keep lugging the tote on my shoulder, I decided to try this cart. Thus far, it is perfect. The cart unfolds easily. The straps wrap around the handle a few times so they can fit the the shape of my bag, and my guess is they will let me stick canvases or screen frames on the same cart. The wheels seem fine, so far. I am not sure about going up steps, but given that step climbing hand cars are way heavier and bigger than what I am looking for, it seemed worth trying this. I may end up using the elevator. The cart is nice and compact which means I can leave it in my car very easily. All told, I am very happy to say that this cart is perfect for me and my needs.
Plus the videos explained how I could make the straps work. It even came with a "User's Manual." When was the last time you saw one of those? I suppose I should give 5 stars for all categories, but I have not yet put it to the test. If it falls apart after a few weeks of use, then I will regret buying it, even if the price is fairly reasonable.
