This is a nice foam trim, from afar it really does look like a wood trim. We used it for around our wall air conditioner and it gave a nice border that covered up imperfections from when the air conditioner was installed. There is one thicker side and one thinner side so aligning it to a square or rectangle is a little difficult.

I needed a cheap and easy alternative to wooden chair rail to use with some old textured wallpaper I had to spruce up a "junk" room and turn it into a usable spare bedroom. This matched well, was very easy to cut and mold, and stuck like CRAZY - almost too well!! You really want to make sure it's straight all the way across before letting the adhesive touch the wall surface. Once it's on its ON. GREAT for longevity, not so great when I realized I didn't have it perfectly straight the first time! Lol!! But for a spare room and my first try, I could not be happier.
