I purchased this item for my grandson who is going off to college. He said it was perfect and this should be something on every college student's wish list. He said it contains all of the things needed when away from home. Excellent idea!

I sent this emergency kit with my son when he moved into his dorm as a freshman at college in another state. He thought I was being overly protective, but it came in handy pretty quick as he had a couple of minor bike accidents, and also caught a cold! He found what he needed to patch himself up!

I bought this for my daughter as a college gift. Before she picked it up at her college and moved out of the dorm, the college SENT IT BACK to the sender. It was only when DormDoc contacted me saying there was an issue did I realize she hadn't recived it yet. DormDoc offered to re-ship at no cost to me to my daughter's new address!

A few days later my daughter received her gift. Once my daughter received it, she "unpacked" it with excitement. She was very excited about the electrlytes and hangover meds, the cough drops, and all the little items she'll need in her own place. I feel better knowning she has some basic bandaids and antibiotic ointment. I know she's already needed the burn kit.

This is a convenient way to send your child off to college or first home with a starter kit for BOTH first aid and general sickness. Most similar kits only contain first aid supplies. What is included is sufficient to remedy most minor first aid needs and a day or two of sick supplies. It is a little pricey, but for the time you would spend putting these supplies together, it is well worth it! And it even contains instructions about what each item is a remedy for.

In addition, Dorm Doc customer service is amazing: prompt and efficient. I ordered 2 kits via Amazon and only1 was delivered. I put in a problem ticket through Amazon advising of the issue and the same day I got both a return message and even a phone call letting me know they were sending the second kit out and asking if I needed it sent directly to my child at a different address because of the delay. WOW! While original shipping time was quoted das 5 days on Amazon and that was the time it took to receive the first kit, the second kit was sent out FedEx and delivered the next day.

This is a great convenient product and the customer service surpassed my expectations!
