I needed a plug-and-play computer that could server as a HTPC (Home Theater PC) / Plex Server / Jellyfin Server. It needed to be the full-time server, while a connected NAS did the storage chores. I'm very happy with this very compact, very full featured PC/Server, that stays out of the way and does its job ! I didn't have to do anything to it / for it. It just worked - right out of the box !

This little machine was ready to use right out of the box! It has a tiny footprint and fits snuggly underneath my monitor. The physical I/O on the unit is just sufficient for my needs. Using 2x 1920x1080 Dell monitors through the HDMI ports on the rear.

Primary I am using this machine for programming. It starts Visual Studio almost instantly. Compile time of a medium complex codebase is short (2-5 seconds) and we're off to debugging.

The internal storage (1TB in my case) is super snappy to access and move data around.

Comparing this overall to my Microsoft Surface Book 2, it smoke the laptop hands down. The laptop is more mobile, but for truly getting work done, the NUC eclipses it.

I got my ordered here and received next day and set it up fast. Adjusting to Win11 is always a blast with any OS upgrade since Win3.11. But aside from that, I was able to setup dual screens to my 32" HDMI screens and move data off my 8yr old Dell tower. I'm thoroughly impressed with the processing speeds this tiny unit has. I think I will be introducing these at my place of work to replace the 300 towers we have since CD/DVD's are a thing of the past and really only the Engineer guy needs a full size tower for the massive video card for CAD. But as a power user and IT specialist like myself, I and very happy with this unit. I've used smaller NUC's as a trial at work and no failures to date. This unit has been working flawless for me to do remote work and use 4 screens, of which are 32" gaming style.

This Mini PC is small and packed with a ton of power. WELL WORTH THE PRICE, SUPER SATISFIED

I needed a small but powerful PC to help me operate four monitors, I needed a browser based device that would give me the opportunity to split video across multiple Monitors, and the Intel NUC 12 fit the bill
The NUC 12 was extremely easy to setup and the small size was very easy to hide, It was a huge plus to have Windows 11 pre-installed, This PC is very quick and responsive, there is absolutely no lag whatsoever, I also took advantage of the empty expansion bay where I installed a 2TB SSD drive, The Thunderbolt ports along with the dual HDMI ports were a perfect fit for me because it gives me the ability to connect multiple monitors together so that I could stream my content, so I was able to do my work and stream my content all at the same time with any lag at all.

I was very satisfied with the wireless connectivity with the 802.11 ax Dual Band 2.4 & 5 & 6 Ghz WiFi, and everything ran extremely smooth, although I preferred to run a direct ethernet cable to the NUC 12 as a direct connection is always preferred when you have the chance to do so,

The NUC 12 comes with 4 USB ports in total, 3 of them are USB 3.2 and the other 1 are USB 2.0 so there is more than enough ports to connect your USB cameras, printers or any other devices that you would be using.

In the end the Intel NUC 12 is a small but extremely powerful Mini PC that can handle just about anything you throw at it. If you want top performance for a fraction of the price then do yourself a favor and take a look at the intel nuc 12, I promise you that you won't be dissatisfied at all, Once you see how great this machine is there's a good chance you'll find yourself buying a 2nd one or a 3rd one..
