These towels are extremely soft. They resemble a thick microfiber cloth, so it's super absorbent and my 2 week old seems to really like it. No fussing or crying once I wrap him up after his bath. I can tell it's keeping him warm and soaks up all the after by the time I'm getting him dressed. Much bigger than the average baby towels.
