Great product

The sound was better than I expected. I was impressed most with there being no compromise to the soft sounds while dramatically reducing the high end. Definitely worth the price.
Using them for gigging at small venue

These symbols work great. Have a nice sound. Been using them for jam night. Bought a drum set so when drummers show up they can play. Not a drummer but listen to the video. Every drummer I've had that played them have good things to say about them, and are amazed at how inexpensive they are
Very good

In an effort to keep the volume down in a small rehearsal space, I decided to give these a try. They really are low volume. My band mates were really impressed too. The cymbals all sound like the voices they're identified as. I'm very happy with these.
I'm not a drummer...but these work!

I have two kids who play(ed) percussion in school band, and one who just likes all musical instruments. I bought them a used drum set last year for Christmas but cymbals cost as much as the entire drum set!
So when I found these inexpensive cymbals being used in a YouTube video, we looked them up. I gave them to my kids for Christmas this year, and they have been happily banging away. They sound pretty amazing for the price, but not being a percussionist myself, I couldn't tell how you they compare to other cymbals. I think they'd be great for beginners so you don't have to break the bank while they're discovering their talents!
(Because they don't come with stands, you'll have to get some of those or rig up another solution. Our drum set is under a loft bed, so my son suspended the cymbals with thick stiff steel wires, felt cymbal pads, and some other hardware magic like he does.)
