This was purchased for a school project. It was very easy to put together and serve the purpose.

great toy for stem learning

This is the 4th or 5th marble run that my family has gotten, and its a bit different than other traditional marble runs. I have 4 kids, and i ordered this for my 3 younger ones who are 6,8, and 10. They love marble runs and we have been experimenting with trying out different sets.

This ones a little different, a little harder, than all the other ones weve tried. Its more of a STEM/science/engineering set than its a fun, little kid, building block set. All our other runs, my kids have popped open the boxes and just started gleefully building. Opening this box, they all kind of looked at all the little pieces in this box, then stared at me. I picked up the big direction booklet, and stared at my hubby LOL. Daddy had to build the whole thing for us 🤦"â'€ï¸ once it was built, they loved it, but after a day or 2 they lost interest in it in favor of the simpler sets. When i asked them why they arent playing with this set after they had all said it was the "coolest" one we have, my 8 year old daughter said its because the whole fun of the marble runs are taking them apart, building them different, taking them apart again etc etc- and that this set is too hard for them to take apart and rebuild.

This marble run IS very cool- but its way too complex for younger kids to build themselves, and they lose interest when they cant keep taking it apart and rebuilding it different ways. Since the day we first built it, its sat on the end table in the playroom. Once in awhile they'll drop a few marbles down it, but its not like our other sets where they are dumping out the pieces on the floor and building and rebuilding massive silly contraptions fir hours.

This would be a great item for kids 10 and older who are interested in STEM building sets.

THis is a fun set that allows you to get creative in building a track and watching how the marbles react/perform to varying designs. Great way to incorporate creativity and education into some fun. The track is a littl on the flimsy side and would sometimes be a little difficult to get positioned exactly how we wanted, but overall this is a great set and lots of fun to enjoy with young ones.

Hours of fun with this set. Doesn't matter the age, make it a family activity night and all will enjoy it. Totally gift able. A great addition to the toy collection option. I grew up with a marble game and this is great for younger kids since the balls aren't a choking hazard.
