Bought this blender because I am trying to lose weight, and on a program I work with, there were smoothies I could drink for high satiety but low calorie. This blender works well, does what it needs, and has good power. If I had any complaint about it at all, it would be that even on its lowest speed, it is very loud. Since I would be blending in the morning while others are asleep, it is very unnerving.
