I used this almost immediately upon receiving it. I was already playing pool and I went home to pick it up, and I am very satisfied with it.
While my friend's pool room has a couple of chairs with this built in, I am more concerned about people who are not playing pool and don't pay attention.
This offers me the option to set my cue in a 'safe' spot, because I saw my cue do gymnastics one night, and some other potential times for it to get knocked over. I decided to be proactive and purchase this pool cue holder.
Not many pool halls have a place to put one's cue, and this is perfect! I only have one cue but I purchased the larger size due the extra weight and size. I am going to be purchasing a new cue within the next month, or so, and this will be an investment.
I chose this product due to the depth of the notches, because many others appeared to be too small, which would provide another chance of my cue falling over.
Some of my friends laugh because if I see someone try to use my cue, I come out of my seat like a rocket ship.
Now I can place my cue pretty much wherever I want.
I ordered some Kamui .98 chalk as well, and I don't want to keep it in my pocket like I do with other chalk. Especially when one is aware of the price of it they will understand what I am saying.

This is a very nice looking cue holder. You definitely will not confuse it with everyone else's plastic Q claw.
It works as it should, securely holds my cues, and I don't need to worry about them falling or getting nicked up leaning against a table or chair. Needless to say, if someone comes along and runs in to them or accidentally kicks them they are going to fall and or get damaged. You should still be selective about where you choose to place it.
My only problem with this product is the overall size makes it a challenge to fit in the pocket of my cue cases. It is a pretty tight fit and interferes with the jump cue pocket. I may just put it back in the bag it came with an clip it to my case. It is a tight fit in that bag as well.

Overall, it is functional, attractive, and practical. I'll adjust to fitting it in my case.

I liked the look of the product based on the photos online, once I received the product I was happily pleased with the quality. I bought two on for myself and my brother as a gift, he loved it as well.

As any pool player knows, you don't always have a place to keep your cues during game play and a cue stick claw can be a life saver. I had looked at various cue stick claws and found that this one, made of wood, not only met the need but looked nice in the bag as well as on the table. Definitely enjoying my cue stick claw, great product!
