This cultivator is great for row gardens and tilling between plants once the soil has been turned over. I don't like relying on small gasoline engines ; however, this one has been easy to start and maintain . I run it at least once a week to keep the gas flowing. The reason i'd recommend this one is not because of its mechanical qualities but because of the company that supports it here in the states. I 've had occasion to call them for parts and they are quick to respond. Customer service on small engines is my main criteria since parts are so hard to come by.

Here is the thing about the Earthquake a strong miss conception about what it's for, clearly stated on the box it's a cultivator, even though this can be used for lite tilling in a flower bed, but think twice about tilling a big area like a Vegetable garden, but what it says cultivates, keeps the soil broken up after it's big brother, a tillers is used in a bigger area, helps with tackling grass and weeds from growing as much in your garden!, it's smaller starts easy, and easier to control for the task it's supposed to be actually used for, let me be clear this not a mini Tiller, it's main purpose is a cultivator just another tool that makes life easier, If you have the love and passion that comes with gardening!
