This is a nice wrap/foil dispenser with a built-in cutter. It has a magnetic bottom so you can save space by sticking this to the side of the fridge. It is also useful to store in a drawer, pantry, or on the countertop if you wish. This comes with plastic wrap that is a good quality. You can refill this with rolls that are 12 inches long.

im not sure its worth $26, but we sure do like it. my boyfriend really likes the faux wood top... me, I like the fact that it is stuck to the side of my refrigerator rt now. its out of the way and I can just grab a piece when im finished at the counter. I could do that b4 when it was in the top draw, but I never remembered we even had plastic wrap in the house. the only time I ever buy it is when im getting a new tattoo. turns out including this box, I have 3 different rolls. who knew? it came with a roll of cling wrap inside the unit, but u had to remove the top by pushing on the white tab so that u could start the roll. I mistakingly removed the whole roll and out came the metal tube in the middle. after a few minutes of trying to get the tube to slide back in, I finally removed 1 of the grey plastic holders on the side of the tube to shove it thru much easier. I then put it back together in 30 seconds and used the slide cutter to cut off my 1st piece. the cutter works very well and the magnet that holds it to the fridge is very sturdy. I will definitely be cling wrapping a ton of stuff in the future now that I have a reminder that it exists in my house and can easily wrap a dish by myself bc it is attached to the side of my fridge. First of all I love how delicate it looks and how convenient it is to store even in areas that are short on space. Second, I like that it works properly as advertised. The third thing is that it is already loaded with plastic wrap for immediate use. Fourth, it is very easy and convenient to use. The use of this material in the kitchen is essential for me, since I have two children and they always leave fruits or cookies or other food that needs to be covered and when I read this article it is easier for me to remove a piece and cover it wanted. The lid appears to be wood as pictured but it is not. It is a very resistant plastic that is very pleasing to the eye. A very interesting part is also that it has a magnetic bottom in case you want to place it on the refrigerator or on some surface suitable for this type of grip. I haven't tried other wrapping materials yet, but I think you can use it for parchment paper too.

The dispenser matches the pictures and descriptions in the product details. To clear up any confusion, the top piece is plastic, with simulated wood appearance. This keeps the dispenser light weight, so there's less concern when magnetically attaching it to a fridge.
The cutting mechanism is the common zipper form. This is certainly much safer than the sharp, jagged metal strips that are attached to the cardboard packaging that plastic and foil rolls come in. Until you get used to the zipper cutter, you may encounter some snagging. The key is to pull the wrap/foil a bit taut when cutting.
You do have to be cognizant of the inner dimension of the dispenser. We tend to buy large rolls (more economical). When I tried to insert it into the dispenser, it wouldn't fit. To test, I used a parchment paper roll, and it worked perfectly. But, we wanted it for either the plastic wrap or aluminum foil We'll have to wait until those rolls are used enough to finally fit into the dispenser cavity. This is not a defect of the product, though. They do emphasize the specifications for roll dimensions ("Maximum plastic wrap refill roll size is 12 Inch X 492 Feet if rolls' inner diameter is 3cm / 1.18 inch.")
The white/wood appearance should fit into most kitchen decor. Although, I think I would have preferred black instead of white, so that it would blend in/disappear against the black side of the fridge. But, that's a personal preference. With the parchment paper, which is a relatively small roll, the magnets held the dispenser with no issue.
Overall, it's a competently designed dispenser. It performs well, and meets expectations. 4.25 stars.

There are literally tons of these plastic wrap dispensers on Amazon, but what set this one apart was the fact it has a full length magnet on the back. It sticks solidly to my fridge, dishwasher or to my range hood. The only instructions were on the side of the box. There was nothing inside so I hope I remember how to set it up after the box gets thrown. The latches on each side threw me and I expected you had to push them both in at once to release the cover. Nope. Just push in one latch and lift up and the cover comes off. Inside I found a whole roll of plastic wrap. I didn't realize any came with it. I ran the wrap through the thin slot at the edge of the cover, pulled it over line of the cutter, ran the cutter across it and it sliced through it like butter.
Now to try out the idea I had when I bought it. I wondered if it would be able to handle vacuum sealer bag rolls. I changed out the plastic wrap for the roll of bags and it fit perfectly in the dispenser. It was harder to cut them with the built in cutter though. It wasn't made for thicker plastic, but if you held it taut to get it started, it worked great and cut the bag in just one pass. It will work for my needs so I'm happy.
