I am an experienced kite flier and I mostly fly 3 to 5meter (9to 15feet) long quad line power kites. I carry this and one other prism parafoil kite (the 140 model) with me every where I go. If conditions don't allow me to power kite I can often still pullout my prism parafoil and have some fun. This kite is fun, maneuverable, easy to control, fun for beginner and experienced. For it being a 200 size it can have some strong pull, which I really like. I have many kites from different manufacturers, and I have to say Prism Kites are my favorites. The quality is noticeable right away, from the design, the material, and string used in the bridal and the control lines, carry bag, and the instructions. If you have never piloted a dual line kite, you really are missing out. If you are considering purchasing this Kite or any Prism kite. But you are debating between Prism Kites another manufacturers similar kite that sells for way less money. I'd say it's not worth it to try and save a few dollars here. I have bought several of the "costs less" kites. They end up sitting or being thrown away. This or any another Prism kites will not disappoint you. (USA purchased and reviewed)

Been flying a basic one string parafoil kite for years and have really enjoyed the durability, simplicity, and convenience but was starting to want a next level kite. Decided to take a chance and buy the 170mm kite for a trip over to the Oregon coast. FYI, the Oregon coast has great kite conditions. I was a little worried that the new system might be difficult to learn and might waste time that I could use flying my regular parafoil. I was SO wrong. It's not difficult to be up and flying very quickly. Each day got a little better and by the 3rd day as long as the wind didn't die, I had no problems keeping the kite in the air as long as I wanted too. I want to add that this kite is a pretty good upper body workout when you really go for the big wind with it! I will pull you forward and give a good tug so be prepared! Anyway, I am very pleased with the purchase and I'm looking forward to my new era of kite flying!
Most fun I’ve had with a kite since I was a kid!

The media could not be loaded. Really fun kite to use on a windy day! Every time I use it at the park I have people of all ages wanting to try it out and they love learning how to fly this kite. On a windy day it makes for a great workout and is a great trainer kite for those looking for larger kites for windsurfing someday. It's oddly hypnotic doing figure 8's in the sky and so much fun to use!
One control line on each kite was 6" longer than the other.

I purchased two of these kites for my girls. While the kites seem very well built and durable, one control line on each of the kites were about 6" longer than the other, sending the kite into an immediate turn during takeoff. Once I was actually able to get the kite into the air, I had to keep my arms at different lengths, in order to maintain vertical flight. It made flying the kites impossible for my girls. The weird thing is that on one kite, the red control line was 6" too long but the blue line was too long on the other. Based on the directions, I adjusted the pigtail end of the long control line but because it needed 6" of adjustment, I had to burry the knot all the way down to the control handle on both kites. The directions say to expect a little line stretch, but 6" difference? Seems more like a quality control issue more than anything. I managed to get them pretty much even and the girls were able to enjoy flying them FINALLY. They seem very durable, surviving a few crashes each as the girls were learning how to fly. I personally own a Prism Tantrum 220 and that thing is flawless but too much for the wee ones. But I find myself enjoying the smaller kites more. They're very zippy in the air and so much fun to fly. Other than the uneven lines, I haven't had any issues with either kite. I would highly recommend these for beginners to parafoil kite flying. Very good and fun purchase. I own 6 acres on the water but just be warned....you need lots of space to fly multiple of these kites. Enjoy!
