Years ago, these were garlic with a butter-flavored oil and salt and were very tasty. I was sad to find now they are being made without the oil and are just VERY dry chips. The flavor is less intense and the overall product is unimpressive. Won't buy again.

I received one on 24 Aug 2023 that expires on 11 May 2024. So freshness was as should be promised, which is a lot being said compared to many other grocery items I had prime delivered in the past. Contrary to what some reviews say, my bag was full of whole and near-whole slices. The thickness and the extent of burn from oven-baking was artistically tasteful to match the rich flavor of roasted garlic... very round (about 2 in diameter avg in my bag) and beautifully holed by fermentation. I think more of us should buy this product to keep the price stabilized at affordable.

They are tasty and I love them heated up in the oven with goat cheese but that's impossible to do when they arrive broken during shipping. Seems they would take extra care when shipping fragile items such as this.
