I became a fan of make-ahead freezer meals last December, but it was quickly apparent that making them in batches of three as my recipes called for was difficult to manage without either two people or a stand of some sort to hold the freezer bag. I had seen similar items to these in the videos I watched, so it was a no-brainer to order them.
Tips: be sure you add the ingredients to the bad evenly across, or the stands can tip over and spill your liquids. Clip the bags dead center, and if you're using quart-sized bags, don't extend the arms all the way. When you're putting heavy ingredients in, the bags need to be touching a solid surface at the bottom or the clips won't reliably hold.
I use them as stands to dry my reusable freezer bags, too, extending the arms to full height and putting the freezer bags over them upside down. Works like a charm, and the bags end up flat when you remove them to put away.
I haven't had mine long enough to know how they hold up.

I was skeptical when I purchased these, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I don't know what it means about "suction power" because the bottom doesn't seem to suction --but it does stay put on the counter due to the rubber ring on the bottom. (I didn't actually know it was supposed to suction!) My only problem now is that I need to order more because it is so awesome to be able to make bulk mixes of some of my favorite recipes and I find that I need more than 8! Buy these.
