The size of the palm of your hands but I guess that's my fault for not reading the size carefully. It does feel silky but thick. It's good for doing twists or edge control. I used it on my child with straight hair instead of gel to see how it worked and it moistorized and styled the hair. My hair is coily and frizzy and it was thick enough to work as edge control. I like these products and was introduced to them by a family that uses it on their coily frizzy haired child and it works for my hair so good -the detangler and leave in so I wanted to try this because it was cheaper.. they are on the pricey side for the bigger bottles.. They work though

As a man with dreads, it's been incredibly difficult to find products that do what they say without smelling like japan cherry blossoms or a bear in a pine forest. This product actually keeps the frizz down, keeps hair moist without being greasy and leaving residue, and doesn't make my scalp feel like it needs a menthol bath - without an overbearing perfume. I'm a HUGR fan of her products I don't put gel in my hair so this does the trick it's lightweight and has a great hold for me n I use it on my grandsons hair n it lays it down n last for days! Great smell also .
