Love these bowls. Not only are they perfect size and shape, but they are difficult to chip or break. Bumped one on quartz countertop accidentally, and it didn't crack by some miracle. It resists staining, cleans up like a dream, and is awesome in the microwave. On occasion, I even use corelle dishes as hot pads to protect my table. LOVE these!!

I really like this size because I make instant oatmeal and it sometimes boils over but with the deep sides of these bowls it stays contained. These are also great for chili.

These hold a LOT! ... I can microwave, refrigerate, freeze. Because of the depth I have yet to spill when microwaving or carrying around. They are big enough to double as a small serving dish for company. They are not the prettiest things in the cupboard but are one of the most useful items. I knew they were going to be bland looking when I ordered them so haven't deducted any points for that. Being all white allows them to be used with a lot of other patterned dishware. I think these are safe for the oven too but I haven't used them there yet.

I have owned Corelle for years but my ex kept my old set. I just bought 24 place settings in five types to suit my needs. Winter Frost White is Cornell's "Open Stock" Dinnerware for Home or Business and accordingly offers the greatest variety of pieces and color matched accessories although some are porcelain, which is too bad. The "Vitrelle" glass is incredible. It's more durable and chip resistant than one would believe and its easy to clean! It doesn't get hot in a microwave and because it's glass it doesn't conduct heat well. So, the edges are safe to touch/pick up, even if the food is boiling hot! If you think White looks to plain, there are options just in sets that are limited to a few choices of bowls, plates etc. For example: You can't get "Versa Bowls" in any of the patterns I have seen. Winter Frost White also has Divided plates in 8" and 10.25" great for kids or Parties. That's next on my shopping list.

They are the perfect size for my husband as a cereal bowl. Also work well for storing and then rewarming leftovers. I love Corelle items, and I love the white color of these - they nicely coordinate with an older dinner set that I have.
