Purchased this monocular, along with a light weight camera tripod, to put together a little/basic mobile telescope and spotter kit for my kids.
This monocular is light weight and comfortable to hold. It also has a standard 1/4 female screw mount that will work with most camera tripods.
The little tripod it comes with also has a handy smart phone mount. 80 X 100 will not provide the best smart phone images, but it is a good all around starter to identify the needs/range/wants for the user.
Clear/Sharp and easy to adjust to any visual range on the go via convenient focus wheel/ring locations.
Wrist strap is not the best, especially if it is being taken on and off constantly....like kids will do lol. I suggest some basic 550lbs Type 3 Paracord instead.
The only actual negative I truly have is that the lens covers are a bit floppy and may not stay as attached as one would hope while being carried. However, to avoid any issues with the covers, this monocular is light enough that it can easy be carried in a MOLY pouch, cargo pocket, day pack, on a neck strap etc.
Overall: A-

Tripod mount to monocular will not tighten; just turns without contacting monocular base

1. tripod mount screw seems to be stripped inside of tripod; it never reaches monocular base; turns in a few threads then just spins without reaching base to tighten
2. Very difficult to align monocular with camera lens
Took a little practice to get the idea of how to properly setup the mount and tripod; once figured out; all good

The monocular is as discribed it has clear crisp vision. The tripod helps with keeping things steady while looking through it at certain things. The setup for the phone could have been better because it was hard to get it focused other than that I liked it.
