I bought this because in my corner of the world, water quality is none. Almost one month I waited for you guys to have a good input. That pic reflects the first batch. Some said this had some issues"”I found it easy to address them. To extend life of your distiller, cleaning is a must. If your budget is tight, just have a sprayer filled with vinegar. Stop the distiller a few minutes before it runs out and wait 20 minutes at which time you'll remove the fan from the unit carefully, since it's still hot. Discard the remaining water and spray the vinegar. If you have a lid to cover (a bigger one just to trap the remaining steam) you'll find it a breeze to completely wipe out all those disgusting remains. Another mentioned issue is the one involving the distillation process being messy because of water dripping. Some managed to extend the area where the water came out into the reservoir by putting some kind of extension tube down the lid. I fixed this issue, which really happens, simply by eliminating the lid and letting the distilled water drip freely inside the glass reservoir. Even though I'm a stay home wife, I bought a timer because I use a lot of water and that way I can distill an extra batch during the night or as I run errands. Like I said before, so far, so good. I appreciate all the feedback that helped me make this choice and now I return the favor. Hope it helps someone looking for answers.

When I got put on a CPAP, I found out on prime day from a friend that distillers were on sale, so I decided to buy one. Since i'll be on CPAP forever, this saves tons of $ so I can distill water for the cpap, pour it into a plastic gallon container from previous purchases and use over and over. It does take a few hours for the process, so don't think you can turn it on and distill some water at 8pm to go to bed at 9. fill it and turn it on, go to work, come home and it's there and ready for you. glad i bought this.
