I have an electrolux front load washing machine and despite diligently leaving the door open whenever the washing machine isn't in use it's developed a lot of mold on the rubber seal in the 3 years we've had the machine. I've tried every remedy online to no avail and was looking into getting the seal replaced when I came across this product. Like others suggested I left it on overnight, wiped the excess off with a microfiber towel and then ran two clean cycles on the machine to make sure all the gel was out before washing clothes. I was so impressed with all the mold it got out! See the before and after picture - this was just the main part of the seal. I didn't take pictures of how when you pulled back the seal further there was another large moldy spot. The gel got rid of 98% of it!! I'm going to try using it again on few smaller remaining spots as I think they just got missed when I applied it the first time (the seal was covered in splotchy mold so it was tricky making sure I covered them all). I liked how the gel was thick so even applying to the slides or top of the circular seal the product stayed in place. Nice to know this is an option to clean the washing machine seals!

Now to try to reduce the humidity in my laundry room to prevent this moldy build up..

We have a pair of GE frontload washer/dryer. We chose these after 15 years of another brand that I was constantly repairing. Anyway the new GE washer featured a Microban coated seal to prevent mildew build up as well as a venting cycle to air out the washer. We routinely wiped down the seal after every use and ran the clean cycle and venting cycle but after two years the mold/mildew stains just grab on and no matter what don't want to come off. After sitting in front of the machine for a couple of hours trying different cleaners I gave up and started searching the internet for a product that would work. I came across several products one of them being Sugelary Mold Remover Gel. After reading several reviews it appeared to offer the best possibilities. The price for two bottles was discounted so I made the purchase. It was a few days after it arrived where there was a lull in washer use. The bottle came with a normal cap and a tapered cap and spout. You don't need to cut anything, just switch the caps out and you are ready to go. I followed the advice of another user and applied the gel before bed and thickly covering all the mildew I could get to. The next morning I went to work and forgot about it. My wife called me later and told me she was doing a load of laundry did she need to do anything with the gel coating. I told her to wipe it off and let me know how it looked. She said it had taken off all the mildew but that the heaviest spot at the bottom was still there but about 95% gone. After laundry she applied some more gel and we let it sit over night. The next morning we wiped it away and there was no sign of mildew. Very happy with the products performance. And I forgot to take before and after photos. :(

I have really bad mold/mildew spots on the rubber of my front loader washing machine. I bought a package of 2 after reading that you need to pack this gel over the mold stains very thick. I used an entire bottle, caking it over all of the rubber and by the next morning it was 75% gone. I scrubbed it and then wiped all off before caking it over one more time super thick, like 1/4" layer over the spots. Everything was gone, 95%+ after 24 hours. Absolutely recommend this for mold stains on rubber and wish I had taken a before photo!

After the first treatment, it looks like it didn't do anything because I had a pretty bad case of mold. But then after the second treatment, I saw a huge improvement. It's still not all gone so now I'm on round three and have run out of product. The pictures I have attached are after two rounds of cleaning.

It was challenging to get the get cleaner around the entire rubber inside the washer. A good amount of mold was removed but enough residual was left behind that it was highly visible. A small brush or spatula might help spread the gel better.
