We ordered the champagne chiller for an event we recently had. At the time, it seemed like a nice, easy way to present chilled champagne to our clients. It ended up being AWESOME. No refilling ice buckets, no wrapping a towel around the bottle to keep drips from going into the flutes. This chiller kept the champagne chilled to the exact temp we programmed it to, and even when shut off, it turned back on at that same temp it was previously at. It's small, and classy looking with the stainless color and digital display, and it will be used a lot!

The original system did not work for us. We followed the fairly explicit directions but, it just didn't. We contacted Amazon and the folks at Cobalance to either find out what we could do to fix it or get a replacement (it was a birthday gift for my hubby). It took them a little while to get back to us, but they replaced the machine - at no cost to us. This one works as it should and we are very happy with both the cooler and the customer service!

It's important to read all of the description and directions for this one! This will not chill a warm bottle in a quick manner, but if you put a pre-chilled bottle in it AFTER opening, it works great for red wine. It is open at the top and doesn't cover the entire bottle, so I would be hesitant to even try it with a full bottle or a bottle of white wine, but for keeping an open bottle of red cool, it does just what I wanted. The fridge is too cold for reds, but I will definitely continue keeping my whites there instead.
I also really like that it says there is a year warranty, but they offered an extra six months for signing up on their website... BUT it's pretty impossible to reach anyone and there is absolutely no link or info about warranties on the site, so I am not at all confident about getting a response if I ever do need to use the warranty. Fingers crossed that it keeps working!
