Too Small For Standard Paracord

I'd hoped to use these lacing fids with standard 550 paracord, but the holes are too small. Threads in two lacing fids I received were acceptable. Will keep them for leather lacing projects, so I find them to be a reasonably good value at price point of $12 USD.
