Very fun but the little piece that stops the wheel broke the first use

I use this wheel as an attraction to get people to stop at a booth for Youth Ministry. I had different levels of trivia and prizes. The wheel was easy to assemble and definitely drew people to the table but because kids were spinning the wheel, the little red piece of thin acrylic that hangs down to stop the wheel, broke the first use. They do provide a second piece of plastic but I assume this will break the next time it is used. Not sure what I will do then...
There are a lot of parts. There is no storage bag.
