This soft cooler is the perfect size for behind your kayak seat or behind your car seat. It is low profile, fits, perfectly, is sufficiently roomy, water resistant, and keeps things cool. I use the Kona xl thin cooler freezer packs. Two of these packs keep beverages cold all day, even in a hot car or out in the sun kayaking.

The cooler is easy to zip and unzip, and the zipper closure keeps the contents from spilling out if the kayak overturns. It held several canned drinks with ice, and while it wasn't overly heavy, placing the cooler directly behind the seat in the middle of the kayak instead of in the cargo areas in the front or rear kept the weight balanced much better.

Connected easily to my kayak seat, but the weight of the cooler always wanted to push against my seat and fold it down. I simply put some tension on it with paracord to make it sit straight. No more issues. Holds 12 or so cans with ice. Would definitely recommend for kayaks with a chair seat.
