Easy to install and clean. Cotton does not make it through. That's the main reason I got it because cleaning the cotton off the inner fins requires taking the metal guards off and is not easy at all so this saves a TON of time and work.

I got a condenser screen for both of my houses. There is a cottonwood in the area and I raise rabbits; live on a busy street. There are lots of ways my condenser can collect fiber and dirt. This screen/sleeve drapes loosely over the unit and will be much easier to clean without any chance of damaging the gills. A friend has one for her house and recommended it.

I bought this to stop bugs/leaves/debris from getting into air conditioner. The wire mesh is very strong & allows air through easily. EVEN STOP POLLEN from entering unit.
Downside--- have to spray (& occasionally) scrub mesh cover to get debris/pollen off as normal rain does not always clean off.
