This is a really great way to take up space on a wall and it looks really cool and modern. It can go with many different styles of Decor. There were a few splinters on the side of the word, but other than that it's great.

We have a vaulted ceiling with a vent that is placed high up on the wall. I searched everywhere for products to cover it. My husband and I must have purchased 15 pieces of different sized artwork for the wall, but the vent needs a way to intake air; nothing looked right, covered the vent, and allowed it to do its job. We finally decided to take a chance on this macrame piece. It's simple, but looks very high quality. The wood at the top makes it look custom. The piece is lovely and we like the eclectic look it gives our living room. Also, other than dragging a ladder, yardstick and level it, it was very simple to hang up. Yes, I know artwork above artwork is not everyone's taste, but we think it highlights the ceiling height and covers the odd 32" by 12" intake vent that the builder placed 1/2way up the wall.

I hing in my new office and it looks nice. Heavy-ish but had no anchors. I used screws and put a Command Strip on the top right and left corner. Keeps it hing securely and not tilted forward - recommend, actually!
