I have this style of track lighting and I have been replacing halogen bulbs on a regular basis for ages now. The 50W halogen bulbs put out a ton of heat and don't last long. I think the led lights I just installed will save money on electricity, heating, and replacement costs. These are nearly as bright as the halogen, but I got a variety of LED bulbs for different uses. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The plastic retainer clip made installation on the H track a challenge for me. You have to hold the retainer clip down while you put the light into the H track. But the light is wonderful! It is not overly white or harsh and is pleasant for working at my desk. The 3000K is preferable to 4000K or 5000K. The cylinders are a solid aluminum and should serve as a good heat sink. I am pleasantly surprised by this product. I do not give 5 stars easily.
