Works great, easy way to dry when you out
I never bought the design or size like this dryer, but I need one for travel use, so I try one. When I get this dryer, it's so compact, and that's what I needed for. I have been using this before my travel, and it definitely works. I did notice this product have timer function, once, I went out, and forget the drying work, when I came back, it was shutdown by itself, that's great.

Loses a ton of heat when extending the arms
Beau✓ Verified Purchase•August 25, 2023
As the pics show, these tubes are quite bendy and flexible and hold their position well. That's neat, especially since this has to be laying down Luxuries side up - assumedly to avoid any water dripping into the unit. There isn't anything but open holes where the arms screw into... so any fluids or solids will drop what looked like right into the fans or the element... so /that/ is a bit worrisome, buuut, just don't do that and you'll be fine... probably.
I screwed in the arms and plugged this in - no shoes - after messing with the arms some to feel out how they bend and work. Left one as pictured and the other fully compressed, also pictured. It took about 10ish seconds to start feeling warm air from the compressed one. By time I could feel /any/ air from the extended one, the compressed one was nice and toasty. It took a few mins before the extended one felt as warm, but the air flow was still way weaker than the compressed one.
So, makes sense I guess. Just means that sadly the two arms are sharing the same fan(s), so the longer the arms are the more room to cool down in the tubes the air has and ultimately the less pressure there is coming out of the end. Also means we're losing some pressure and heat from the air that's just being blasted into the inside of the shell around the tubes =/ SOME sort of particle barrier and better airflow control and/or fans closer to the arm holes would've done a lot for this thing.
Really verbose way of saying, keep the arms short as possible to heat/warm/dry stuff faster.
Scent? Odd one, but yeah, doesn't really have one. New plasticy kinda smell of course, but the element inside didn't give off any smells or anything. I reckon this will change once those heads end up in some boots though D:
This wasn't too expensive, and I'm not sad to have gotten it. It'll work, and it's flexible enough to say dry a glove and a shoe if didn't get both wet for example. The arms won't hold weight, but they're clearly designed to slip into shoes/boots that are resting on the ground normally. This is definitely better than what we had to do: try to balance stuff by the heating registers or pray all that clunking in the dryer isn't breaking anything!

Maybe I'm weird, but I actually decided to take this into the office and keep it there instead of at home. I have plenty of shoes at home so I can just swap shoes and let mine dry if need be. But if it's rainy when I'm going to work and my shoes are all wet... omg wearing wet shoes all day is the WORST! With this, I can pop my shoes off for a little bit while I'm at my desk and let them dry so that I don't have to spend the whole day miserable in damp shoes that are just going to get smelly along the way. I can usually get away with drying shoes just on the shortest timer setting if they are only damp. A truly wet shoe, does need longer, but anything is better than nothing for when I'm in the office so I don't have to keep spare pairs of shoes at my desk. The unit itself is pretty compact, and while the hose arms do stretch out and bend in different directions, that just disperses heat more so I try not to stretch the hoses out if I don't need to. The unit is also quiet and isn't creating a huge racket, even for using it in a cubicle office setting.
Quiet and simple to use

I ordered this unit thinking it would really come in handy during the wet winter season, but as luck would have it, we haven't had the kind of weather I expected and so I haven't been able to see how well this unit will actually work to dry items like shoes, boots, and gloves.
Assembling the dryer is simple "” the two flexible and extendable dryer arms just screw into the main unit. Once assembled, you insert the ends of the arms into the item to be dried and press one of four buttons "” a regular power button or one of three timer buttons that will automatically turn off the unit in either 1, 3, or 5 hours. The unit blows heated air through the arms into the item to be dried. The force and heat of the air generated by the unit is nothing like that of a hair dryer. It is warm, but not overly hot, and blows at a gentle velocity. I doubt you'd ever have to worry about this dryer catching any item on fire.
I like that the unit is quiet and it looks like this dryer should work fine for drying out shoes, boots, and gloves.
