I usually wear an 8. I got an 8 in these shoes. They fit very well. I got these because I work in dental, I'm in a chair moving in awkward positions using my feet while working. I use the sides of my feet, to push myself, if that makes sense. I do not play sports.
The shoe was a little tight around the top of my foot, but better now. Anyway, I really like the way they protect my feet, keep my ankles from rolling wrong and keep the sides of my feet from being sore at the end of the day. They are also pretty grippy on the floor. I don't feel as if I will slip while pushing myself and the chair. Hope this helps.
