Purchased this bar in Nov 2022. Have had set up for just about a year now. Have 3 kids on it daily. 9 yo, 7 yo, and a 3 yo. The bar is still sturdy, looks brand new, and we have moved it up and down heights depending on which kid is using it primarily that day. This was a phenomenal purchase, and exceptional quality. Strong, sturdy, and heavy duty. Definitely recommend two people for assembly though. And, if it's husband and wife, when one says hold something steady. They mean it. These pieces hurt if they fall and hit a toe.

Updated review: Bars worked well for a few months but the welded bar at bottom snapped. I reached out to Amazon who did not have a direct contact # for the merchant but said to go to the Ask A Question section. So I did that and they reached out right away saying they would send a new part. Still waiting on the part though so we shall see"¦..still do not think a weld should snap after a few months.

I am changing my review because after I reached out to the seller letting them know about faulty description, they reached out to me and provided one of the best customer service I have even received. They send out a wood bar the day after and they even refunded me $20. Very impressive. In general the kip bar is awesome and very sturdy and now with wood bar instead of plastic it is just perfect Thank you!

This unit was quite easy to put together, the instructions were a bit abstract as far as which screws to use (the difference states long screws and regular screws) but it's not that hard to differentiate. I honestly got an easier picture of how to assemble with the image rather than the written form but to each their own.

Minor abd I mean minor scuffs, I'm really not a stickler as my kiddo is hard of his things so starting out not pristine isn't a big deal for me and I'm sure it's more of a shipping thing.

It seems sturdy and fits our athletic gym mat. We are using as an alternative for our autistic 4 year old. He is seeming to love the tumbling and swinging already.

Reason for removal of the star- again I am sure it's a shipping thing but as there are extra pieces of hardware, perhaps an additional piece would have been useful (I am unsure). The knob for height adjustment came broken in the box. It is attached to the bar and I can see where, if mishandled even in the slightest from the origin destination to the home, it can be damaged.

The thing is the break left a pretty sharp point on a piece of equipment where tumbling and falling is probably unavoidable. So yikes. Of course I'll try to reattach somehow but yeah, I guess removing a star because if you will ship attached, maybe send an extra piece just in case as forethought?

Otherwise, it's great. Will update as we use it more!

We bought this gymnastics bar with the mat for our 6 year old for Christmas and it's perfect! Amazing quality, easy to assemble, fast shipping and our daughter loves it! She will get many years of enjoyment Highly recommend!
