As a former healthcare worker, I've always wanted to keep a stash of medical supplies at my home for emergencies and just-in-cast instances. So, I ordered these scalpels to give a shot.
Honestly, if you're expecting to use these to do home surgeries, please don't! First, while they're definitely sharp enough to cut skin, they aren't quite stable enough to do so without error. The blade has a bit of a shimmy inside the handle, so it could lead to a slip or something that might injury the human. And while they're labelled as sterile, there's really no way to fully know that for sure. So, please don't operate on your neighbor with these!
But like I mentioned, they are sharp and easy to use and dispose of (sharps container, please). My mother can use them for her paper crafting hobbies and I've used them to scrape really stuck-on paint off of windows. So, if that's your intention with these blades, then have at it!
