This is a sturdy rim complete with net and straps for mounting it to a pole. The straps can be tightened very strongly and hold the rim firmly to a tree or a pole. However no backboard is included. Also the straps are not very long so attaching it to a larger tree does not work. Be sure the hole spacing matches your existing backboard if used as a replacement.

I got this to replace our existing rim mounted to a backboard. The bad news is that the holes didn't line up. I suppose unless you can get the measurements just right before buying, o Lu get this if you're going to mount it to something new: a tree or board that you'll drill your own holes in. Wish I had paid more attention. Another con is that once you attach the net, it slips out easily because it's just looped once on the hook.

Easy to install! Chose to use the ratchet straps as I was attaching them to a tree... Could not have been easier! I wouldn't say it gets heavy use but it has held up well so far.
