Cordless feature is one of my favorite features; it last a long time before you need to charge it and if you forget to charge it you can still used it while it's charging. I used it at home for my own personal use on dip nails, gel nails and my natural nails. This drill have enough power to do all your nail works and the kit comes with all the accessories you need . We love this thing!! I had an old bulky electric file you had to plug in, and it was noisy and worked intermittently. This cordless file is wonderful! The attachments come in lots of shapes and sizes, you can vary the speed, you can even go in reverse! It is super quiet! I can't believe how quiet it is! You barely even hear it. The charge lasts a long time.
It works on gel nails, natural nails, and I'm sure acrylic too. We don't have acrylic, but I don't know why it wouldn't. It also works well on calluses.
I don't recommend for kids or beginners, since you could injure yourself if you aren't careful, by using too high of a speed close to your skin.
The box is really nice too! We have kept it in the box for storage, since it is so nice and small, and has a place for everything. It even has a magnetic closure. It would make a fantastic gift for anyone you know who does their own nails. I highly recommend this nail file!

Purchased this for my daughter in law to go with another kit. I have one and she is always saying how she should get one, so I got it for her. I bought this product so that I could touch up my nails at home. I love going to the nail salon and getting my nails done. However, I always find that the nail techs never file down the underside of my nail, my real nails grow differently and need to be filed. With this product I can easily put the correct attachment on and get rid of my nail growth underneath that always catches on everything!
