Got this for a Celestron "“ StarSense Explorer LT 80AZ and it holds the telescope perfectly. Its nice that it came with 2 accessory bags to hold items and there's an outside zipper to store things a well.
Inside is pretty room and there's straps to keep the tripod and telescope tube in place. There's also a small bit of padding to form a wall between the them.
Overall, excellent value and I hope the straps hold up over time.

This is by far the best telescope bag!! It has so many amazing features!! 1) sturdy construction 2) a great double zip flap at the top (not just the single zip in the middle) so it's much easier to reach in and place your scope gently + align everything. 3) It has straps inside to hold down the scope and accessories which is AMAZING and everything feels extremely secure. 4) An adjustable padded divider inside so it can accommodate short and longer scopes. 5) Good padding all around 6) a front pocket for accessories and smaller items
And all of this it comes at a SUPER reasonable price! I highly recommend this case for anyone looking for a good quality telescope bag. Unfortunately I miscalculated the length of my tripod so it doesn't fit inside which is entirely my fault and such a shame because if I could choose I would use this bag 100% over others for all of my accessories.

I have been in the market for a case to provide protection for my refractor telescope. Now those who have been in the market before with cases and bags for telescopes know it is a very expensive investment that you don't normally want to do. I came across this listing and was surprised of how affordable it was compared to cases on average that are 200 on the low end. Took a shot at it and I am glad that I did!
For a case to hold a OTA tube of 40 inches long I was quite surprised of how small the package was folded up. Who ever folded this up deserves a raise haha. I love the fact it has straps on the inside to hold the OTA and Guidescope down nice and firm. Being it's a 4in f/7 refractor. The outside has thick protection lining against you accidently banging the scope on the way out the door. There's even still room to fit my EQ mount!
You want a case at a affordable rate that tells on protection, I highly recommend this!

I initially ordered the 30-inch bag because the order form defaulted to that unit. It was too short so I returned it and ordered the 40-inch bag. It arrived a day early and I unpacked it and allowed it to reshape itself overnight since it came somewhat compressed and folded.
Once ready, I put my Celestron 114 AZ tube and tripod in the unit and used the enclosed bags for my finder scope and lenses. I put additional parts in the padded front pocket.
The bag was easily able to accommodate all of the gear and still had plenty of room inside. It could easily handle a larger Newtonian reflector tube and sturdier tripod, at least 2/3 more than my stuff.
Since the bag will sit on the back seat of my crew cab truck when traveling, the padding is more than sufficient. It carries easily as well with the centered strap handles.
I've ordered a second bag for my 130 unit that will be a Christmas present for both my wife and I. I ordered the 40-inch for that unit and if it is too long, will return it unopened, for the 30-inch since I can try fitting the 130 into the 40-inch bag.
Overall I could not be more pleased with both the workmanship and quality of the unit.

Perfect for wide field 120mm scope

I have been looking for a bag to hold my SkyWatcher StarTravel 120, and this is going to do a good job. It likely would fit the big brother 150/F5 scope as well. Solid construction, and a nice two way zippered tongue opening in the top makes access easy.
