Nice and quiet

We use these to help our younger kids stay quieter and more entertained at church. We can hear, and they are entertained. We have older ones, but they are not colord. The kids like the vibrant colors, and also the lock feature. I have never seen one the will lock it and not let anything new be drawn on it, but that would be a cool feature, someday. The batteries seem to last quite a while. One really nice thing with this particular set is that it came with and extra pen for each board. One thing not as nice, is that there really isn't anywhere I can tie a pen on... oh well, give and take, right?

Easy to take along for car rides

This has made into the diaper bag for entertaining kids outside the house, the kids play with it at home, and it is our favorite car distraction.
Drawing pictures without the mess and without wasting tons of paper has been hugely helpful for road trips or restaurant dinners.
The lock feature does NOT make the picture untouchable. It only makes it so the delete button does not work. For example, if your kid draws a picture and puts the board in a bag, things that bump the board will still draw on the picture and may ruin the picture. Not a big deal for most kids but those toddlers who throw tantrums might lose it. I have shown my kids that we can delete the picture and draw it again and that usually works.
