Great camping blanket with multi use

Be warned in opening the box don't use your extra sharp knife like I did, luckily it cut into the blanket bag/holder, no blankets were harmed in creating this review. I fixed the bag with some gear repair tape all good. The blanket is awesome, we used it to have a pic Nic, as a blanket and as a shawl to stay warm. It has buckles that allow the blanket to be used as a shawl/poncho or you can use the snaps and make a sleeping bag of sorts. It also has connectors on the edges you can tie to your hammock to use as an under quilt. I am not a fan of synthetic filler and prefer down because it is usually lighter and packs down smaller. So this isn't down but was still light. It was a little bit bigger than what I prefer but is worth that extra space. The water resistance is on the outside of the blanket and it did great but since we were testing it for our pic Nic, the inner portion was facing us and that is the first area we tested and it did get wet. It is resistant on the outside not water proof so just keep that in mind. Definitely worth the money if you are in the market for a camping blanket/quilt

We have really liked these blankets for camping. Their thickness and durability make them very warm and usable. The good is a joke, I wish it wasn't there and it detracts from the value of the blanket because it's so gimmicky. And I doubt we'll figure out how to roll it back up to use the handle but that might be an intelligence issue as much as anything.
Bottom line is we find these to be great for any outdoor use.
