I'm not vegan so I'm not sure how this measures up to others forms of chicken substitute. But it really looks and pulls like chicken. Not a hug fan of the taste that might be my fault for what I boiled it in. And I could've left it a bit longer so it would be softer. Noticed the extra firmness in chili but not in salad.

Will definitely continue ordering this. It's perfect for stir frys, sandwiches, soups, pasta, whatever! Make sure to rehydrate using boiling water and a longer time than suggested. It also helps if you're cooking it in some liquid like a stir fry sauce or liquid aminos or broth, etc. The texture is fantastic - has a rip-apart quality and good bite to it. The serving size listed is 100g but a realistic serving is about 50g (dry weight) ends up being a lot after soaking. So each bag realistically has about 5 servings.
