Happy with this purchase. Just connect to computer with the included USB cable and you are in business. Don't use the CD to install Audacity - as it is a much older version. Audacity is free to download off the web.
Audacity is not a very user-friendly software - needed to watch a number of YouTube videos to use. But the tape player is a great value and is a great value for what I am using it to do.
