I have been building rc cars since 1983 and i own more RC cars than I care to admit.

Every one of those broke multiple parts and they are very expensive to repair.
This tiny little 1/16 truck is absolutely hands down one of, if not the best and most durable car I have ever owned.
I only run 3s 2200mah Batts and get about 45 min run times
It has been launched at a skate park and on a rc track with reckless abandon and takes a beating like no other car.
I have ran about 30 packs of batteries though this car and have not had to replace a single part. I simply can not break it!
It will definitely run just as fast and keep up with any 1/10 car in any situation.
I highly recommend this car for any person who is interested in rc cars.

This car is pretty decent and durable for the price. The controller is slightly laggy compared to mor expensive name brand cars, but is about half the price. Car is fun and works well if you are looking for faster or more power the battery upgrade that hyper go offers to run it on a 3s battery makes this feel like an entirely different car much more responsive way quicker

My 12 yr old son and I each have one of these trucks. They are very tough trucks and VERY fast with 3S batteries. Another thing that I like a lot is the ability to easily upgrade and teach my son how to wrench his own truck. I had an ESC problem with my truck out of the box but Hyper Go was very responsive in getting it taken care of. Very happy with our purchase.

Overall, I am very impressed with this little RC. The one thing I like about it the most is the durability. It can definitely take the abuse from bashing and holds up while doing crazy jumps...plenty of breath holding "is it ok" tumbles. I'm not saying it's bulletproof, because there are certain things that I've upgraded to avoid break issues. My rear shock tower cracked, I've broken both front end sets, and my front differential burnt out from 3s abuse. These are things to be expected and I am not upset by any of it. All the damage was caused by me. The speed and power of this RC is impressive. At 2s it's plenty fast for the beginner RC driver and at 3s you better have added some weight to it because it will do backflips from a standstill and absolutely rip! I've upgraded to all aluminum drive components, replaced my differentials, suspension, and in the future will drop in a 5000kv motor. It's a nice entry level RC that has plenty of upgradability and options for repair. I would recommend purchasing this awesome deal of an RC. To beginners and hobbyists, it's been fun running this thing and working on it to turn it into the beast it is today. Update, just to show those who are interested...yes this thing can be decked out to compete with higher priced RC's. On 2S it'll run 36mph, on 3S I've had it peak at 51mph.

We have 3 boys who are obsessed with RC cars. My husband has become quite proficient with repairing them and we have learned to ALWAYS get the protection plan. This was our first experience with Hyper Go and a brushless motor and we will only ever purchase these cars in the future. This car was by far the most durable car we have owned, and it is so incredibly fast! The fastest car we have purchased from Amazon. We were thrilled with the extra parts available in the package and it appears that Hyper Go has additional replacement parts if we need them. We love the custom shaped battery and the battery latch which is easy for the kids to use. The also have larger cotter pins which are easier for the kids to manage on their own. We only ever purchase cars with the standard T Plugs, and this car also uses the standard T Plugs. We will be purchasing another Hyper Go Brushless motor car, it is worth the money.
