Bought a 4 pack of cameras, which included a flood light, on July 23rd. Only used 2 of the cameras. Decided to mount another one w/flood. Odered just the flood light. Low and behold in 3 months they have issued a new generation which IS NOT compatible with the ones I bought!!!
Update. I increased my rating because of blink's customer service. However you MUST make sure what Gen you have when ordering extras as they ARE NOT interchangable.

I've been waiting for an outdoor camera floodlight combo that runs on battery and has a good app. The Blink Outdoor 4 checks all the boxes and is a great value already but Black Friday sale made it a steal. The only catch is that cloud storage and some tricks require a subscription. If you buy a separate USB drive you can store locally to avoid the subscription like I do but it's certainly not as convenient. The system was easy to install and the camera is great in low light. The floodlights are bright and if the batteries last 2 years as advertised the Blink Outdoor 4 should be the perfect minimal home security system.

I've only tested it right now, and I will update this as soon as I get it installed. But this is one of the things I was missing in the front of my house. I have cameras, but these lights and camera takes care of the spaces my solar lights couldn't reach. I have to set the settings a little less sensitive, before I did that on my cameras, I was getting notifications every time a car would pass on the main road!! Can't say that's all bad!
