My first ever US model and version of the Asus ROG phone series!

I previously have owned the ASUS ROG Phone 2 and 5 device models in the past. Both which were the International and Tencent Games version. For those looking to buy or seriously interested in this device. Do your research and purchase from either ASUS USA or from Mobile Advance directly as they also offer and come with a 1 year US warranty. Avoid NPG Store, Giztop or Ali Express etc. As they only sell the International, Tencent Games and Chinese model versions of this phone with no warranty. The only difference between all of the different variants compared to this one is the carrier and service band support, which is a big deal for those who live in the United States and want to use this phone with their respective carrier. I simply wish ASUS would just make one universal, global model rather than go through all this trouble for people to find the exact model for their respective country. Come on Asus!
Works like a Legend

Impressions after a few weeks of ownership:
A neat little computer that's also a phone. Does all the phone-ing things I could ever ask from it.
Can get pretty hot when running flashy games, but the included cooler does a very impressive job keeping temps low (around 37C) when it's time for a prolonged session gaming on the device. The most demanding program I've run so far is Genshin Impact and it can run it all day at 60, although controls leave much to be desired. Without the "AEROACTIVE" cooler, as I would everyday carry, the phone feels quite a bit warmer (about 45+C), but it'll get you through your dailies on the go and more. In less intensive games, like any other media demand you can ask from it, it can practically go all day every day.
Speakers are great and the headphone jack runs my IEMs just fine.
Battery is massive and even if I cut it in half, it could probably still get me through the day with some charging. Which the charger included is pretty quick too, not that I really need it to be with its very high capacity, but it's nice to have the high performance option if I happen to be forgetful that day.
Camera's adequate, with macro making the phone slightly better at in close objects than the main lens.
The included case is meh, and the ASUS specific software could use some refinement but that doesn't really take away from that fact that this little bugger takes me back to when I got a GameBoy for the first time. Do keep in mind that it is a bit big, I'd imagine female tailored clothing is gonna have a hard time to put it in the little pockets, if you're someone who likes to carry the phone on your person rather than in a bag.
Give me expandable storage and I'd swear you'd be making a phone just for me, in Paragon white and blue glory.

Better than almost everything else on the market for quality and cost.

Bought this phone to replace my ROG II (and ROG 3 that got water damaged and became irreparable). The batter life and processing speed is as good as ever. I like the feel of it, but it is annoying that you can't find a good case for it because of the low market share Asus has, even though I think their ROG phones are superior to anything Apple has, Samsung and LG too.
I downrate this phone because while older screens were tough, this screen scratched easily just cleaning it on my cotton shirt (something I've never had a problem with on my previous ROG phones). That, and the lack of a good protective case, are my only real complaints about this phone. The camera is outstanding, as is the chipset for graphics and processing. Hopefully battery technology advances further to a 10,000mah hour battery in the same size as this. On average use, I charge my phone every two days; light use, ever 3.
Update: 2023-08-24
The camera has started to malfunction where opening the camera app, or any app that uses the camera, like Snapchat, Line, Skype, etc, causes the phone to freeze, then restart. Initially when this started in April, it wasn't horrible as it would restart in 1-5 attempts, but now it might take 30-60 minutes to execute a successful restart (easily exceeding 100 attempts). It's still a good overall phone, but I'm sad to say, the ROG II Phone is still the best overall performing. Asus needs to up the build quality, and water resistance (at least provide silicon covers for the ports to keep them clean and dust/dirt-free), of the next ROG phone. Something else that would be nice it to try and keep the locations of things like cameras and ports the same so you can buy one phone case that works with each future phone iteration. I'll upload pictures and videos of the restart issue later.
