I purchased these hummingbird houses as a Mother's Day gift and they were a hit. My mother has many hummingbirds in her garden and surprisingly no little houses. The wood is sturdy, no holes or leaks in them. The wood itself doesn't smell manufactured and you are able to replace to yarn with something sturdier. The print on the houses looks branded on with a hot iron - nice and clean. I would recommend these for anyone who loves hummingbirds, fairies, gardens, or anything whimsical.
