Great gravel

Great gravel just run it under water for a bit first. Looks amazing under the black light.

Product says it was washed 3 times, but you still need to give it a good wash under hot water. I suggest using a sift to rinse. Beautiful looks in my tank though and high quality!
it works

everyone here complaining about "it made my water cloudy" are very impatient people. it's rocks, banging against other rocks"¦ that "cloudiness" is micro rocks broken from the bigger rocks grinding against each other.
after a quick rinse, i put them in my aquarium, & it was only cloudy for less than a day. turn on the filter, add some drops i have to make the smaller particles clump together & it's literally never been cloud since. since then i switched to a sponge filter because of how clear the water it. this is perfect for my beneficial bacteria to call home, the rocks actually help filter the water, & all my snails & shrimp like to explore it. if you want it to stay white, vacuum the gravel regularly.

if you're looking for a planted aquarium, you will need fertilizers, i recommend root tabs. there's pretty much no nutrients for the plants to absorb with this stuff, unless you've been recycling it for a while, in which case why are you reading my review lol

Expensive but Cute

I really liked the look of this white gravel. It goes great with the decor in the tank. It is expensive though, considering I can get pea gravel for a fraction of the cost. But i really wanted this color so I went ahead and got it.
Just like the other reviews say, wash it a few times before adding it. And with anything white, you will see any little dirt or debris in the tank, but that van be good or bad, however you choose to look at it. I like being able to see the snails against the white, as they blend in with the natural colored gravel in my other tank.
Overall, I really like it!
