my needs are simple - a portable, somewhat easy to inflate paddle board I can take out to the lake and drink beers on with my friends. Gets the job done, however the one way pump is a pain. I think I counted 450 pumps, and that was only up until I gave up and used my friend's automatic pump. It is also pretty narrow, so standing up on it is a challenge - I would say I am a pretty advanced individual when it comes to balancing acts, but standing on two feet in mildly bumpy water is unstable. Nonetheless, I am usually on my knees so it doesn't bother me.

If you're a college kid looking for an affordable opportunity to get out on the water, this is it.

Update 5/9/20:

So after several uses, the boards are STILL awesome. My husband and I have taken our dogs out on the boards as well with no issues. The boards have still held up well. Initially, I was worried about the dogs' nails on the board as it is inflatable, but it seems to be a non-issue. Also, the paddles float! Which is really important when you fall off of your board lol.

The one concern that we have is that one of the paddles that we received has a loose bolt connector, so it shifts up and down when paddling and comes apart. For now, as we still get used to paddling, we haven't needed the top part of the paddle. I will be contacting the company to see about a replacement and update when I receive a response.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

This board is awesome! I took it out of the packaging and was concerned at first because it is an inflatable SUP. But you would never guess that by the time that you finish inflating it. It is so sturdy and doesn't indent at all. And the absolute best part about this is that its LIGHT. If you've ever carried a SUP after several hours of paddling, you know you are exhausted (at least I was the first several times I was on one and even now) but with this SUP being as light as it is, I won't have to worry too much about lugging it to the car since I can either use the handle in the middle (It's very conveniently placed) or I can deflate it and stick it in the pack that it comes with.

The pack is just like a big canvas backpack. There is PLENTY of room for all of the equipment, and then some. I could probably fit my folding chair in the bag as well. There's a drawstring at the top, so that's super helpful if it accidentally flips over.

Overall, it took about 20-25 mins of using the manual air pump to get it to the proper PSI. I just got it to the very bottom line, and it was sturdy, but I might recommend getting it to at least the middle of the recommended PSI range.

The paddle is made of aluminum, which I was very pleased with. I was concerned that it could have been made with some cheap plastic, which could break when I'm out on the water. But everything in this set so far has been fantastic.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the quality of this inflatable SUP. It looks and feels like it has been made well, and I wouldn't be worried about bringing my dogs aboard either, as the vinyl is really thick and durable. I haven't taken the board out on the water yet, its been far too cold unfortunately, but I'll update with pictures and a further review with how it is once I do!

We ordered two of these paddle boards during an Amazon flash sale and really could not be happier with them. It is also worth mentioning, if you have ANY issues with your board, contact the seller/company directly. They are friendly, helpful and efficient. (One of the fins was missing the little piece that locks it into place, and one of the paddles had a defective part. I contacted the company directly, and they sent me a new fin and paddle - which I received in just a few days.)

The board takes about 5 minutes to inflate by hand with the pump that is included. They are very lightweight, and easy to carry. Once you're on the water, they are nice and easy to steer - even for a beginner like me! When you're finished, just rinse them off with the hose and let them air dry before deflating and rolling them up. They deflate fast, roll up nicely, and fit in their storage/carry bag with plenty of room to spare. We have been enjoying them since the day we received them!

Hello! I've used my inflatable paddle board once and over all really enjoy it! However, my center fin fell off while paddleboarding and I can't seem to find the correct replacement fin anywhere. Any feedback on where I can get a new center fin?

I would recommend buying an air pump with it! I went with friends so I lucky didn't need to blow it up because they had a air pump but I can imagine how it would be a pain to pump by hand. Still great quality and stable. Thick material as well so my dogs nails didn't even come close to popping it.
