the connectors appear to be aluminum, plated having a gold color. They are of solid construction, good threads and the internal contact seems to be good quality. I used one to connect two coax cables together and it worked as designed. Reception was good quality with no heating of the connection. I would buy these again and recommend the purchase to anyone interested.
