The media could not be loaded. I love things that do things without a dedicated power source. My mindset when buying this was just something fun like putting a bobble head on the dash of your car and I got the thermometer for the stove that I was actually after and the fan if it worked could be a fun conversation started about green energy sources. I had low expectations other that the fans to at least move to make it a fun accessory for our stove. I am happy to say like others, this little unit actually works. The first time I knelt down to stoke the fire back up after placing the fan on the stove I could feel the subtle breeze of hot air blowing on my face from the fan. It's a very subtle airflow from the fan's and nearly silent, but it was enough to get me excited. We live off grid so anything we can do to cut power needs the better. Our plan now is to pick up three more of these so we have one on each front corner cycling air in the living area and two mounded to the stove pipe gently pushing hot air into our kitchen area and ditching the noisy electric fan and it's power needs seen in the video. These will also be stocking stuffers this Christmas for all my friends with wood stoves ;-)

It's summer so I haven't used it but it is smaller than what I thought it was going to be. Spins nice.

These fans have dramatically improved the performance of my wood stoves. I use ceiling fans on reverse to distribute heat, but these help get the heated air away from my stoves faster. I use wood stoves to warm the bottom floor of my very large older home (built with no insulation....we are adding it but that takes time and lots of money) and because this home does not have an open floor plan, we have to get creative with getting proper heat distribution without adding a central unit. With these fans, the room warm up quickly and the adjacent rooms are now getting warmer faster. I keep the house at 65 to 70 during the winter and a few times, when I added the same amount of wood as I did before, the room with the stove and stove fan was up to 75 and side rooms around 72.....I've reduced the wood and we are about 73 in the den and 65-68 in the adjacent rooms....so I think the fans do help with efficiency. (that was not a scientific experiment, but it was enough for me). I am going to purchase two fans so I can have two in the den and three in the living room (opposite sides of the house) and we should be nice and toasty for the duration of the winter. I recommend this product.

This product works extremely well due to the double fan. Plus the price is very reasonable.

Fast shipping and would be easy to install but when item received parts were rattling in box. It appears the fan may have been previously returned. One of the screws holding the base onto fan unit was free floating in box. Upon looking at the base the screw head looked scratched as if someone else attempted to fix and tighten. Looks like manufacturer defect and if the screws were longer maybe this wouldn't occur?
