Bought this mainly for the lighting effects which are great. Was awed by the fan which works incredibly well. Not that the Xbox series X was running hot but I could definitely feel a difference immediately.

This is the perfect addition to my setup. The adjustable brightness is a plus and the ability to change colors to match my current scheme is good as well. The fan is a bit loud, however, it is adjustable as well, so putting it on a lower setting, eliminates the noise. This thing is (almost) perfect. If I could change/add one thing is, allowing the fan/lights to turn off when I shut down my Xbox, or simply add a remote so I don't have to walk over to it to turn it on/off. Other than that, I would recommend this to anyone that wants to add some character to their setup while keeping it cool too.

I have my Xbox mounted on its side in a cabinet. The cabinet is pretty open but I felt that as hot as the machine runs additional air flow would be beneficial. I will say that mounting it so that the USB cord plugs in on the same side of the Xbox puts the controls on the bottom. It isn't hard to hit them since I put it on the edge so that the new fan assembly hangs over the edge but it would be better to have the controls on pretty much any other side. Personally I like the lights but my wife vetoed them so I have them turned off. I have set the fan speed on medium and it definitely moves more air than the installed fan in the Xbox. My son bought one after I did and he was having some heating issues and says that this has resolved them so overheating was most of his previous issues.
