What I love about this product is that I've had no roaches or snakes for the past three months. In my region of the US during the summer, that's been a feat. It's been a wonderful change from using pesticides or other inhibitors.

During the last month, I've had two snakes in the basement (100 sq. ft.), shedding, then leaving (hopefully). They were each six feet and were within ten feet of both of the products I have plugged in the basement. The seller said the product has a lifespan of six months so I may just have two in the one space that have worn out early. They also advised moving the appliance closer to the area (closer than ten feet).

So I would say that their description of how the product covers the space may be an underestimation in the areas of the house where snakes may linger.
