Yes, I had a not-so-smart moment and I accidentally had the cup wrong. It was in my D44 axle tube but was able to tap it out with a highlift jack handle. No damage to the axle tube or tool (thank goodness!). Once pulled out the newly mangled seal, I replaced it and pressed it in CORRECTLY (LOL) and it worked like a dream. Not a tool I will use everyday but at least now I can press in my own seals with ease knowing that they are pressed in correctly and squarely.
